It’s Okay To Not Know

I know the path to success is paved with hard work. The hard work comes in the forms of sacrifice, long nights, and resilience. I lay awake at night and ponder about it.

I am no stranger to hard work. Most of my time as a full time college student, I also worked a full time job. Maybe I think too much, but is there a limit? Is there a time when we should scale back or no matter what, push forward? Does our happiness in the present moment matter or just the happiness of a day unknown in the future? But still at night, I ponder about it.

As of late, I feel I’ve been doing a lot of things that have left me unhappy for the sake of trying to gain success. Sometimes, I feel positive and know everything will pay off, but other times, I’m not so sure. At night, sleep fails me and I ponder about it.

Everyday, the answer escapes me and everyday, I make the choice to push forward without knowing.
